As a valued team member at Red Rock Fertility Center, Nita not only helps our patients when it comes to growing their family, but she always strives to make everyone feel safe and relaxed throughout their experience. Nita works with our patients during their fertility journey at Red Rock Fertility Center as the Sunset Surgery Center nurse.   • Tell us about a typical day at work for you.

A typical day for me is coming in [and] making sure I have everything I need in order for patients to have a safe and relaxed experience.

  • What’s the most exciting part of your job?

Calming and talking to coworkers and patients.

  • Tell us about the relationships you’re able to form with each of your patients. How does your role impact their overall experience at Red Rock Fertility Center?

I am able to calm each patient’s anxiety about being in the facility and having a procedure done. This impacts each person because when they come back or see me again, they are not as nervous.

  • What do you think makes Red Rock Fertility Center a unique place for fertility treatment?

Teamwork and following through with each patient interaction, [whether] it be in person or over the phone.

  • How is the team at Red Rock Fertility Center unique to the market?

Diversity and communication for all aspects of the practice.

  • What is your favorite food and/or restaurants?

Seafood and Texas de Brazil.

  • What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Spend time with family and friends, and [I enjoy] word games.

  • What is your favorite place to visit? Any places you’d love to visit?

Cruise destinations. I would love to visit Greece and Belize.

  • What is your greatest accomplishment? (Personal, professional, etc.)

Finishing nursing school.

  • How long have you been in Las Vegas and what’s your favorite part about this town?

18 years and I love that it is a 24 hour town.

  • Is there anything you can’t live without?

Music, especially gospel music.
