Intrauterine Insemination

What is Intrauterine Insemination?

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) symbolizes the delicate dance of science and hope, where carefully nurtured dreams are tenderly placed in the womb of opportunity, birthing the promise of a new life and the beauty of fulfilled desires. It’s a testament to the harmony of modern medical expertise and the eternal hope that unites hearts on the extraordinary journey to parenthood.

To determine if IUI is the best course of action for you, set up a consultation with the medical team at Red Rock Fertility Center by calling (702) 749-4834 or using our contact form.

IUI Success Rates

Generally the success of IUI is anywhere from 10% to 20% depending on the age of the woman and the quality of the sperm. Many patients try two or three IUIs and if they have no success, they move to IVF (in vitro fertilization).

IUI vs. IVF

IVF has three times the success rates of IUI because IVF allows embryologists to see the quality of the egg and allows for performing genetic screening on the embryo. IVF treatment involves more stimulation of the ovaries to produce more eggs, and the eggs are then fertilized in our embryology lab which ensures that the eggs are fertilized.

Our Expertise

Dr. Littman has extensive experience with intrauterine insemination combined with our exceptional lab and embryologists. We can facilitate your treatment for a successful outcome. Insurance frequently covers the cost of IUI, though most insurance companies do not cover the cost of medications.
