Mom and dad’s story begins with dad being previously married with children and having a vasectomy. When dad got remarried, they wanted to expand the family. After a year of trying following a vasectomy reversal, mom and dad were unsuccessful, so they decided to seek help from Dr. Eva Littman.
At first, they tried two cycles of Intrauterine Insemination (IUI). which resulted in biochemical pregnancies (early miscarriages). Next, they tried In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).
The PGS testing showed abnormal embryo quality, which didn’t result In a pregnancy, however, after trying IVF a second time, they got great news, mom was pregnant with twins! Mom, however. miscarried one of the twins at 8 weeks.
